Brought is book three in the Unchained Vice series by Nicolette Hugo. It can be read as a standalone with no prior knowledge of the first two books is needed but I can guarantee that after reading Brought if you haven't read The Arrangement or Exhibition you will.Brought revolves around Scarlet, Killian and Jericho and their complex relationship which starts when Scarlets husband Killian, hires a Dom, Jericho for Scarlet for 40 days. So as you can imagine it'll get complicated especially with two dominant males. The characters have a lot of chemistry which is shown throughout as well as character development and by the end of the story you will probably want to live in this world or want to hire a Dom for yourself.
Once again as with The Arrangement and Exhibition, Ms Hugo has drawn me into her book with a brilliantly written, well executed plot that's full of twists and turns that'll keep you on the edge of your seat. The sex scenes are extremely hot and steamy that you may need a cold shower after reading.
This is another five star read that'll leave you wanting to know when Nicolette Hugo's next book is out and how can I convince my husband to let me hire out a Dom for 40 days.

If you love a great mystery with alot of adventure . This as lots of excitement romance to. Then this is the book for you to read. You might not put it down.
What a great, I hope, start!! I want to see where else this story goes.
The plots are amazing and answer a number of questions in great detail. The characters have great depth!! I can't wait to see what happens next!!
I want Killian to be free and move on. But what happened to Daniel?
I want freedom for Jerricho and Scar too!
There is a lot to enjoy in Bought. NH gives us three dynamic protagonists, a compelling plot, and delicious kink. The strong sense of place makes the story more vibrant. The relationship development was exceptionally well done.
I stretched this book as long as I could and I can't wait for Hugo's next book. I think Bought is the favorite out of all three. I just can't say enough wonderful things about this book. It will blow your socks off and leave you begging for more.
All of these characters are phenomenal. Oh my gawd are they phenomenal. It's so easy to fall in love and get comfortable with these characters. The sex and BDSM scenes are just….too amazing for words.
Hugo is an author I will happily keep coming back to over and over again.
I read The Arrangement some time ago, and it was one of my favourite books of 2015 and definitely my favourite by a new-to-me author, so I was more than happy to get my hands on Bought. While it didn't quite move me to the same extent as The Arrangement, it's well-written and the sex schmokes, particularly when Jericho and Killian are together on the page.
If I put my finger on it, I think it's the insta-love aspect of Bought that I don't quite buy (sorry), unlike the beginning of Arrangement when it's clear these characters have had several months to get to know each other.
I also felt too much was thrown into Jericho's backstory to supplement his need for money, giving him the motives to do what he does in agreeing to Killian 'buying' him for a month.
All that said, once again I love the sexual BSDM world that Nicolette Hugo creates and I feel like I learn a lot through her books.
Erotica as education? Gotta love that!
Extremely well-written story; I could picture each character through the details. Jerricho, Scarlet and Killian are extremely interesting, well-developed characters, each with many secrets that are slowly revealed as the book progresses.
This book has it all...rope, crops, candles/wax/flames, bondage, guy-on-girl, guy-on-guy and guy-on-guy-on-girl sex. Whoa! It was a lot to take in with a few of the scenes. The Jerricho character is so complicated and conflicted. Screwed up as a kid, lots of scars and at times just trying to get thru life.
I swear this story grabbed my eyeballs and wouldn't let them go. It was like a fixation and I became addicted. I read this book in less than a day, a day where I got very little done because I kept coming back to my tablet and opening up the book to read 'just one more chapter'. It is not a 'sunshine and roses' or 'Doris Day' story. There is an excellent plot that deals with human trafficking and how these 3 characters get sucked into that evil crime against their wills. It is not the kind of story that I will read again but it was very good all the same.
Nicolette Hugo, my new favorite author, has done it again. Every installment of the Unchained Vice series the stories run deeper and rawer and more intense than the last. I love how this 3 way romance unfolds, the characters and their struggles were very real and the sex is HOT. The book is very well written and a pleasure to read. My heart hurt, ached and longed as these three worked their way to love. The dynamics of a 3 way relationship were really well written and developed, it was refreshing to read something that had two very powerful men in the menage, and how they worked out their dynamic as they both circled possessively around Scarlette. As with the first two books, Nicolette Hugo tackles BDSM in a new and totally addictive way. I’m waiting for the next book…
